A classically styled, gusseted, sling bag based on a 1930s newsboy bag discovered in California. Cut from a hard wearing cotton canvas that has been dyed using a traditional, Amami Oshima Island mud dyeing technique, no two bags are alike and each features its own subtle variation in colour. Styled with a more comfortable wide strap with rivet reinforcement and irregular quilt stitching, two internal pockets, and a d-ring belt closure at the opening. Constructed using durable flat felled seams throughout for a hard wearing finish that is built to last; iron hardware throughout intended to rust and change with time.
Note: due to the dyeing technique, colour may transfer to lighter coloured fabrics, use caution when wearing with light colours.
