Founded by sisters Laila & Nadia Gohar in 2020, Gohar World invites you to dwell in a world of fantastical tableware, accessories and objects that touch on a nerve of opulence. Pieces are conceived in their New York Studio and made by family-owned ateliers stretching from Vietnam to Austria, from Italy to Egypt. Embracing disappearing traditional techniques such as mouth-blown glass, needlework and handcrafted methods, GOHAR WORLD celebrates the fruits of labour, presenting pieces that are intended to be future heirlooms to those they pertain to, and where there is no such thing as the “mundane” in the everyday.
